Terms of Service

Last updated: June 11, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Event Networking platform, including Event Networking Cards, event directories, contact exchange features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Event Networking (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

3. The Service

Event Networking provides tools to:

  • Create and share Event Networking Cards;
  • Participate in or host event attendee directories;
  • Collect contact details from visitors who choose to share them;
  • Send optional follow-up communications you configure, subject to applicable law and recipient consent.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable. The Service is provided on an evolving basis; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile text, images, event information, etc.). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely to operate and promote the Service.

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is unlawful, misleading, harassing, defamatory, or infringes others’ rights;
  • Contains malware or attempts to disrupt the Service;
  • Violates privacy or sends unsolicited communications without proper consent.

We may remove content or suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Visitor exchanges and consent

If you collect contact details through your card, you are responsible for obtaining any required consent, providing appropriate notices, and using data only for purposes visitors reasonably expect. Automated follow-up emails must comply with anti-spam laws and your stated practices.

6. Event organizers

If you create or manage events, you are responsible for how directories are used, who may join, and compliance with venue or employer policies. We do not endorse attendees or guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted profiles.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service without permission;
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation;
  • Use the Service for spam, phishing, or illegal activity;
  • Circumvent security or access controls.

8. Third-party services

The Service may link to third-party sites or integrate sign-in, maps, or other providers. Those services are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party practices.

9. Fees

Some features may be offered free or paid as described on our website or in your plan. Paid terms, billing cycles, and refunds (if any) will be presented at purchase. Taxes may apply where required.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT CONNECTIONS OR FOLLOW-UPS WILL ACHIEVE SPECIFIC RESULTS.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EVENT NETWORKING AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Event Networking from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, your event directories, or your communications with contacts, including claims that you violated law or third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or for operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive (limitations of liability, indemnity, dispute terms) will survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.

15. Disputes

Before filing a claim, contact us to try to resolve the dispute informally. Except where prohibited by law, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
